Welcome to InsightLA’s Basics of Mindfulness Meditation. I am Ron Ames and I will be your teacher for the next six weeks. I am excited to teach you how to meditate. No prior experience is necessary. We will start at the beginning and prepare you to develop your own mindfulness meditation practice. If you already have some experience, we will help you deepen your practice and strengthen your concentration, clarity and equanimity. We will prepare you to confidently sit in meditation and participate in half day and full day retreats. At the very least you will begin to explore who you are in this very moment.
